Breeding Notes
- easy to breed
- keep the nymphs as well as the adults in a airy, yet humid cage
- nymphs grow up quite slowly. Males reach maturity in about 7 months, while females take about 8 months (at room temperatures). As it
- is a slow growing and slow moving species, they do not eat a lot
- females start about 4 – 5 weeks after their final moult to lay eggs. They lay about 1 egg per day and just drop them to the ground
- mating lasts only for some hours, the males do not stay with a female for a long time
