- very easy species
- incubation about 3 - 4 months
- feed well on bramble, hazel and beech
- Hypericum is well accepted too (info by Philippe vd Schoor)
- need a humid cage
- spray regularly but let water dry up before you spray again
- females are light or dark brown
- both sexes have small wings, which are reddish when opened
- females about 10 - 11 cm, males about 8 cm
